When frightening events start to exist in their house, young couple Kelly and Ben discover they're being haunted by a presence which was accidentally conjured throughout a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them wherever they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural, but even with his help they might already be past too far in order to save themselves out of this terrifying force.
Production: In May 2009, Todd Lincoln was named because the director and screenwriter of the project. Joel Silver cast Twilight actress Ashley Greene for that lead role of Kelly on November 5, 2009. On December 9, Lincoln announced via Twitter that pre-production had begun on the project, that is being financed by Dark Castle Entertainment. On January 26, 2010, Friday the 13th actress Julianna Guill was cast for that role of Lydia. Harry Potter star Tom Felton was cast on February 8, and was joined 1 week later by Romanian Captain America: The First Avenger actor Sebastian Stan and British actor Luke Pasqualino. Filming began last month 26, 2010 in Berlin, Germany, along with other scenes being shot in Los Angeles. On March 25, Greene shot some scenes in Palmdale, California. The project marks Lincoln's directorial debut. Silver will produce with Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman.
